Shipping Information

I take great care in packaging my original artwork. Each painting is wrapped in a clear cello bag with a stiff backer board. Tissue paper is then used to prevent movement within the box during shipping.

I ship via USPS Priority with insurance in the amount equal to the value of the artwork. Tracking information is included and will be emailed to you once the package is delivered to the Post Office. Usually packages arrive within 2-3 business days. To request faster shipping, please contact me prior to making your purchase. To ensure proper delivery, please make sure your address is correct in the order form prior to placing an order.

Returns & Damages

If, for any reason, you are unhappy with your painting, please let me know what corrections should be made before the shipment of the portrait. I do not refund completed paintings, but sincerely want you to be thrilled with your purchase! I seek to satisfy every customer 100%.

If the painting arrives damaged, please notify me asap! I pack all original paintings with the utmost care in order to ensure safe delivery. Sometimes, however, a painting will get bent or creased during shipping.

Please send a photo of the damaged artwork to Michelle@CustomPortraitsbyMichelle.com as soon as possible. I will file an insurance claim with the Post Office and either replace your portrait at no charge to you OR provide you with a check for a full refund once I receive the insurance money from the PO.
